In an effort to meet the complex needs of an increasingly large elderly population, and those families affected by Alzheimer’s disease, Sheltering Arms Senior Services embarked on a capital campaign to build a 43,626 square foot, state-of-the-art Alzheimer's Day Center and operations facility.

The new facility, located in the Stella Link Campus Park at 3838 Aberdeen Way at Stella Link in Houston, Texas, provides greater accessibility to elders and families. The operations facility features an education center for educating the public about aging issues and for training staff.

Adjacent to the operations facility is Sheltering Arms' state-of-the-art dementia adult day center, for those with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of memory loss. The new adult day center has allowed Sheltering Arms to increase capacity, provide additional health services and offer new programs.
