Sheltering Arms Senior Services Names New Board Members and Officers

HOUSTON (February 4, 2010) . . . Sheltering Arms Senior Services has elected Deborah Adams, Barbara Kuryk and Melissa Scheppele to its Board of Directors. Adams is President of Transportation for ConocoPhillips. Kuryk is Vice President, Strategy, Policy and Programmes at BP. Scheppele is Chief Information Officer and Vice President, Enterprise Business Systems at Cooper Industries. Additionally, Keith Rowden was elected Board Chairman; Gary Orr – Treasurer; Chris Tagoe - Secretary; Former Chairman Michelle Beale is now Ex-Officio and Paul Waldner is Honorary General Counsel.

Sheltering Arms Seniors Services is a nonprofit organization committed to providing home-based programs that allow older adults to live safely and independently while giving caregivers support and peace of mind. Its mission is to promote the dignity and independence of older adults through service, advocacy and support for caregivers.
