All proceeds from the event will benefit Sheltering Arms Senior Services, helping to further its mission of enabling
older adults to live with dignity and independence in the greater Houston area. The golf tournament, hosted by TXU
Energy, will be held Monday, April 20, 2009, at 1:00 pm at the Wildcat Golf Club.

“As the elderly population increases, so does the need for programs that support the health and well-being of older
adults and their family caregivers,” said Robert Phillips, president, Sheltering Arms Senior Services. “These
important fundraising activities will help us provide programs to promote the dignity and independence of older
adults in our community.”

“EDS has a long history of volunteering and making contributions in communities where our employees live and work,” said Anthony Erickson, global utilities industry leader at EDS, an HP company. “We are pleased to be working with
Sheltering Arms and supporting their mission to improve the lives of older adults.”

"Sheltering Arms has been a blessing for me, my mother and our family,” said Marguarette Washington, whose mother, Willie Pearl Johnson, is a client of Sheltering Arms Day Center. “They say that people with Alzheimer’s and dementia regress and get worse with time, but I’ve seen my mother improve at Sheltering Arms. She exercises, does crafts, interacts with other seniors and gets involved - she looks forward to going there and I believe this makes a
huge difference in her staying healthy.”

Sheltering Arms Senior Services promotes the dignity and independence of older adults through services, advocacy,
and support for caregivers. More than 53,000 Houston-area older adults and their families are helped each year via
its home health care, geriatric care management and consultation, Alzheimer’s day care, telephone reassurance, case
management and housing and energy management programs. Sheltering Arms serves as the lead organization for
Care for Elders, a partnership of more than 80 organizations whose mission is to improve the care and services
provided to vulnerable older adults and family caregivers in Harris County. For more information call 713-685-
